First, let me say, I’m no wine expert. I’m not a sommelier. I know I said I was a wine snob, but I’m only a snob about the things I know. There’s A LOT I don’t know. And, since I don’t want to just spout to you about things that I can’t back up, I’ve been doing some research. As a result, I’m learning a lot too. Thank you 30 day challenge for making me use my noggin!

Before we jump into much more, I thought it’d be fun to show you where you can learn some wine basics.
Obviously, there is a lot of great information on the interweb. Just do a search on "wine" or "wine basics" and you come up with a bunch of great stuff.
Wine.about.com had a lot of great information and was pretty easy to get around. Bettertastingwine.com is setup in easy to follow lessons which was cool as well.
And, they have cool pictures...like this:
