Wow, I can't believe it's over! (And, I'm kinda relieved it's over.)
31 Days of Wine. (Well, actually 29, cause I missed two days in there.) Still not too shabby. I crossed just about all the topics off of my intitial list.
To finish it off, here's some info to get you through Thanksgiving.
Thanksgiving Wines - some great tips in here for picking wines that will go with everything from the apps to desserts
Pairing Wines with Holiday Meals - suggestions range from $15 to over $55 if you are feeling daring...some good sounding ones on this list!
Whatever you decide, whether its something new or a tried and true, be sure to enjoy it with the people you love! That always makes the wine taste better. (Unless it's white zin...no amount of love can make that better.)
I hope that you had a giggle and got at least one new wine to try over the course of the last month. If you decide to start your own wine club, I'd love to hear how it goes!
Thank you Nester for the inspiration and thank you to the other 700+ folks that decided to do the same thing! There are some great topics out there if you want to check them out.
Will I do it again next year? We'll see. Can you imagine what my pile of corks is going to look like by then?
Cheers!

Bottoms up!
I'm liking the wine club idea - wonder if we could pair it with our book club. Congrats on a way original and creative 31 Days - I loved it!

ReplyDeleteI am just so excited that my sister in law is finally serving wine with Thanksgiving dinner since the grandparents passed away that I don't care what she buys!
